Privacy policy

The short version
We store the customer information you put into Trivex so the software can do its job. Each business's data is walled off from every other business's at the database level. We do not sell it, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not read your email inbox.
What we collect
What you give us about your business. Your name, email, phone number, business name and address, and — where the phone carriers legally require it before you can send text messages — your business registration details.
What you put into the software. Your contacts, notes, deals, appointments, invoices, and the messages you send and receive through Trivex.
How you use it. Which pages you open and what actions you take, so we can find what's broken and what's confusing.
Calls and messages. Records of calls placed and messages sent, including recordings and transcripts where you have turned those on.
What we never do
- We do not read your email inbox. Trivex sends email on your behalf and receives the replies to those messages. It has no access to the rest of your mail.
- We do not sell your data or your contacts' data, to anyone, ever.
- We do not use your customer lists to train anything shared across businesses.
- We do not let one business see another's data. That is enforced by the database itself, not merely by application code.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to actually deliver your calls, texts, emails and payments — the phone network, the email sending service, the payment processor, and our hosting and database providers. Each receives only what that job requires. We do not give any of them permission to use your data for their own purposes.
Your contacts' rights
When someone replies STOP to one of your text messages, Trivex adds them to a do-not-contact list immediately and permanently, and it becomes impossible for the software to message them again. Every send decision is written to a record that cannot be edited or deleted, so there is always an honest answer to “why did this person get contacted?”
Keeping it safe
Connection details for services you link are encrypted before they are stored. Passwords are hashed and never recoverable, by us or anyone else. Access between businesses is separated at the database level, and we test that separation automatically as part of every release.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and everything in it, and we will do it. Some records we have to keep for a period because the law requires it — consent and do-not-contact records in particular exist to protect both you and the people you contact.
Children
Trivex is business software and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
